The Eldridge Overton School of Excellence provides
supplemental education programs to students of all
ages and skill levels. We have the knowledge,
experience and unique ability to work with special
populations (students with disabilities, English language
learners, etc.). Our varied teaching methods reinforce
our flexible and active approach to learning.

The mission of Eldridge Overton School of Excellence is
to provide comprehensive, outcome based programs to
our clients. Our goal is to foster the development of the
clients' academic and social skills and to provide them
with the necessary tools to achieve their full potential.
We strive to provide an individualized program that
addresses the clients' unique learning styles, cultivates
independent thought, promotes the students' realization
of age-appropriate milestones, builds self-esteem and
character.
We have a clear four-part mission for every client
who studies with us:
- Our clients will develop stronger academic
skills in Reading, Math, and Writing
- Our clients will develop better concentration,
focus, and attention span

| PREPARING LEARNERS TO ACTUALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL Why Should You Choose Us? We assess the psychoeducational needs of our clients so that we may have insight into the entire "educational picture". This assessment allows us to work with the client holistically. We will not simply impose some prepackaged, ready-made program upon our clients. The program administrators review each assessment. We then create a customized plan after careful review of our individualized assessment, parent/guardian interviews, homework, tests, teacher notes and other qualitative and quantitative information. |

| THE SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM Success is built into our program. At every tutoring session, the student achieves success by completing specific learning objectives. Students demonstrate that they have mastered one skill before moving on to the next skill. Each success results in improved self esteem and confidence. A low student teacher ratio ensures immediate and individual access to trained and caring tutors. As a result, each student receives a wealth of personal attention. Our motivational system provides an incentive for consistent and continued student efforts. Continual assessment of student progress is an integral part of the program. An ongoing review of goals and objectives closely tracks the student work. |
