MATH STUDY STARS    (AGE 8-10) 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM  AND  (AGE 11-13) 6:35PM-7:35PM
Are you having trouble completing math homework? Do you need help with acing that next
fraction exam? If this sounds like you, then you need to join our Study Stars class! We will
take materials from your current classes and our tutors will work with you until you get it
right! Bring your willingness to work hard and current textbooks. Parents will receive weekly
updates on student progress.

Conquering the College and Scholarship Application Process   4 Sessions Grades 8-12    

This course is designed to help students maneuver through the maze that is the college
application and interview process. Students discover how to choose the right colleges for
admission and techniques for career mapping. They are also taught the basics of completing
college applications and personal statements. Students are taught the fundamentals of
successfully searching and applying for college scholarships.

Coming Soon! Gifted and Talented  Institute                Ages 9-12  

This course is a continuation of the G/T Institute I. Students MUST have attended the G/T Institute I.
Students will continue with advanced algebraic concepts. We will explore and analyze one of the great
literary giants. Additionally, students are introduced to the PSAT!  Prerequisite: Students must score
advanced proficient on the most recent state assessments or score in the 95th percentile on a tested area of
the standardized tests administered by their schools, i.e., Terra Novas, Iowas, CATS, SRAs, etc. In addition,
students who have been identified as academically gifted by their school districts have the opportunity to
apply. Scores must be accompanied with a letter of recommendation from school principal or guidance
counselor.
