| Under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, many students that qualify for free/reduced lunch and a attend public school deemed in “need of improvement” by the state can now receive financial assistance for tutoring outside of school, also called supplemental educational services (SES). Each state develops a list of potential SES providers. To get on this list, providers must be approved by the state. States choose providers that can offer high-quality, research-based tutoring programs that are in alignment with state standards. Once the eligible family chooses us as a provider, the school district enters into a contract with our company. The district pays us for our services for a specified amount of time. Similar to many other federally funded programs, space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. If your child attends a participating school and is eligible for free/reduced lunch, please sign him/her up for FREE tutoring as soon as possible. A.Y.P.
